Yet in Pennsylvania and across the country, millions of people go without the care they need because of cost. Patients delay treatment, skip prescriptions, or face crushing medical debt, all in one of the richest countries in the world. That’s unacceptable.

Medicare for All would change that. It’s a single-payer, national health program that covers every person in the U.S., guaranteeing comprehensive care — from doctor visits to hospital stays to prescription drugs — without co-pays, deductibles, or surprise bills.

The Problem
