PASNAP Came Together For Our 2026 House of Delegates—And It Was POWERFUL

The overarching message of our 2026 House of Delegates was PASNAP POWER. And from start to finish, PASNAP members showed exactly what that power—all about harnessing the strength of our Union to fight for better patient care, stronger hospitals, and healthier communities across Pennsylvania—looks like in action. Members from every corner of the state came together, shared stories and strategies, made contacts, made plans, and had FUN.

PASNAP President Maureen May set the tone: “The headwinds caregivers, our hospitals, and our patients are facing this year are very real, and they will test us. But we’ve been tested before. And every time, we’ve met the moment by showing up—for our patients, for our coworkers, and for one another. That’s what makes PASNAP strong. So as we move forward, let’s stay grounded in what has always carried us through: our unity, our voice, and our willingness to act when it matters most. 

“We will keep speaking out. We will keep organizing. We will keep fighting for the care our patients deserve and the conditions our members need to provide it. Because when it matters most—when healthcare gets tough—we don’t back down. We stand together, and we push forward!”

A huge highlight: a visit from Governor Josh Shapiro. The Governor spoke directly to PASNAP members about our POWER and the importance of protecting healthcare workers, defending patient care, and using our collective voice at the ballot box. He also took time to meet with members and hear our stories from the bedside.
